How to Install C&C Panel Wood plastic composite wall panel

1: Hidden Fastener Installation

The preferred solution for outdoor decks and terraces in the US. It features concealed mounting and causes no damage to panels.

Advantages: Removable design, no visible screw holes, attractive appearance, accommodates thermal expansion and contraction. Widely used for high-end projects.

Application: Full-area decking, courtyard platforms and rooftop walkways

Installation Steps

Mark positioning linesMark the layout of each grating panel and fastener positions on the joists.
Secure main fastenersInstall dedicated stainless steel fasteners along the joists at corresponding positions on panel sides. Fasten the fastener bases to joists with self-tapping screws and tighten firmly.
Lay the first grating panelClip the panel into the fastener grooves, then tap gently with a rubber mallet to seat it properly. Ensure a flat surface and uniform gaps.
Continue laying panelsReserve a 5~8 mm expansion gap between adjacent panels and at panel end joints.
Install edge restraintsFit L-shaped edge trims or limit fasteners along outer edges to prevent panel displacement.
Final levellingCheck the overall level and gaps after installation, and adjust fasteners if needed.

2: Direct Screw Fixing

Installation Steps

Place panels in position and align with marked lines. Leave a 5~8 mm expansion gap between panels.
Drill pilot holes on the solid ribs of the grating (avoid hollow sections) to prevent cracking.
Fasten vertically with stainless steel self-tapping screws. Sink the screw heads 1~2 mm below the panel surface. Do not over-tighten to avoid panel distortion.
Fix each panel to every joist with no less than 2 screws. Use more fasteners for heavy-load areas.
Fit decorative caps over exposed screws for water resistance, rust prevention and improved appearance.
